Rebuilt Cummins 4BT Engine – 3.9L

From: $9,490.00

Despite its initial use in utility vehicles, this engine has become extremely popular in the 4×4 and off-road communities for engine swaps and diesel conversions.

Each engine rebuilt with us is unique. We carry out all the stages of the reconditioning of a Cummins in our premises. We thus avoid delays caused by external suppliers, and it allows us to control the quality of the work from A @ Z.

Each internal engine component is replaced with a new equivalent or a part of better quality. If the customer wishes, we have several modification options to reassemble an engine that is much more efficient than an original engine.

As for the external components: injectors, pump… unlike other garages, we inspect and test them. They are replaced only if they are no longer good.

Note: The listed price is the starting price for a long block rebuilt. When selecting an engine, you have the option to add additional features. The most popular options are available in this product sheet; however, many other options are also available. For a custom-built engine, please contact us for a personalized quote.

The core fee for this engine is $2500.

Description

Rebuilt Cummins 4BT Engine

Our specialized technicians rebuilt all Cummins 4BT engines. Whether it’s to put an industrial machine back to work or for a swap in your favorite vehicle, our engine will impress you with its performance.

Released in 1983, Cummins’ 4BT engine was marketed primarily for industrial and commercial applications. Commonly used in agricultural equipment, forklifts, bulldozers and other types of small machinery, it is also found in small delivery vans.

Despite its initial use in utility vehicles, this engine has become extremely popular in the 4×4 and off-road communities. It is the preferred engine for engine swaps and diesel conversions.

Its small size (30.6″ length, 24.6″ width and 37.7″ height) makes it popular in a wide range of custom applications. It is found in Jeeps, pickup trucks and small to mid-size SUV, and even full-size trucks.

Its torque performance at low rpm is not negligible considering its 4 cylinders. It is easily modified to improve performance and replacement parts are available. Despite its weight (over 700 lbs) the 4BT remains a very good choice for diesel conversions.

All our rebuilt engine have a 1 year/20 000 km warranty
