If you’re dissatisfied with your purchase, don’t worry! Return the item to us within 10 days of receipt, and we’ll give you an exchange or refund, depending on the product’s condition. (Shipping and handling charges, though, are non-refundable.)

SHIPPING POLICY

The purchase of parts is generally shipped within 1-2 days after the order is processed.

Depending on the choice of delivery, it will arrive between 3 and 5 business days.

The shipping time for a rebuilt engine or transmission is 3 weeks. Once your order is placed, a representative from customer service will contact you to confirm the amount due for transport.

You can pick up your order at our garage at 619 boul. Guimond, suite 102, Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, J4G 1L9.

We process orders from Monday to Friday during regular office hours.

 

Currently, the supply of parts is unpredictable. Sometimes certain parts may be available, while other times they will not be. In order to ensure a steady flow of parts, SML works with many suppliers.

If there is a delay in receiving a part, or if we need to propose a substitute from another manufacturer, one of our customer service representatives will contact you. Please note that substitutions may not be at the same price.

RETURN POLICY

Please write your MRA (Merchandise Return Authorization) number on the exterior shipping box.

To obtain an MRA, please contact customer service at 514-233-4363.

Instructions for returning items:

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging, unopened, and in a condition that they can be resold.
  • Items must be packed in a shipping box other than the original packaging.
  • Do not write on the product packaging itself. Write only on the outside of the shipping box.
  • Packages without a return authorization number (MRA) written clearly on the outside of the package will be refused.
  • All returns must be sent to SML Diesel Performance within ten days of the product’s receipt by the customer. This deadline can be determined by checking the transport carrier’s tracking information for a specific date and time.
  • All returns will be reviewed and, at our discretion, a credit may be refused or a 15-20% restocking fee will be charged if the product is not suitable for restocking.
  • We do not reimburse shipping costs or insurance costs.
  • The customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred in returning products.
  • Reimbursement, store credit or exchange are the three options when returning an article. Remember that exchanges of products must be made for the same article; they cannot be used to replace different part numbers.
  • SML Diesel Performance does not pay return shipping; if products are returned COD, shipping fees will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
  • If you believe the part was damaged during transport or that it does not match what you ordered, please contact the SML Diesel Performance customer service department at 514-233-4363 for an MRA.

REFUND POLICY

We do not offer credit in the following cases:

  • The product was installed and/or used.
  • The product was damaged as a result of attempted installation and/or use.
  • The product is returned without the original box, instruction manual, and/or missing parts.
  • Electronic items that have been opened are not eligible for this warranty.
  • The serial number on the product does not match the one that was originally shipped to the buyer.
  • The product is considered non-resalable by SML Diesel Performance due to customer treatment of the product.
  • Special orders or discontinued products cannot be returned.

GUARANTEE

All parts are guaranteed against defects in manufacture. However, wear and breakage of components used for racing, competition, or any other use than normal is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

We do not reimburse parts that have been damaged as a result of incorrect installation. We will not exchange, reimburse, or repair any part that we believe has been used or installed incorrectly by the customer, or that has been subject to improper handling, packaging, or shipping by the customer.

CORES POLICY

CORES:

  • All cores returned must correspond exactly to the year and model of the ordered part.
  • Cores must come from a functional engine and not be assembled from scrap parts.
  • Cores that have been disassembled or whose main components are missing and/or damaged will not receive the full credit for a core, or may be refused outright.
  • Damaged cores due to contamination, mishandling, or any condition beyond normal wear will have money deducted from the credit, or may simply be refused.
  • All transportation costs COD will be deducted from the core credit amounts, plus any administrative fees.
  • The amount refunded will be less the cost of shipping the core to the manufacturer. We will refund you once we have received credit from the manufacturer for the returned core.
  • The core must be returned in the original box in which the replacement product was shipped. Transmission and engine cores must be complete and in the original shipping box. All original supporting materials provided with the replacement product must accompany the core.
  • All cores must be sufficiently drained of fluid to avoid external leaks and damage to the shipping box. TRANSPORTERS WILL NOT ACCEPT PACKAGES THAT ARE SOILED. Any return shipment of a core that does not meet these requirements, that is received damaged, or that is labeled as presenting a danger to the environment (i.e.: fluid left in the core) will be refused, or the core security fee will be penalized.
  • The core security fee will only be refunded if the core is returned within 30 days of product activation/installation, 90 days after purchase by the end user, and/or 18 months after purchase by the reseller/distributor. After which, the core’s market value may be offered if the core is required by SML Diesel Performance.

PRICE POLICY

SML Diesel Performance has the right to cancel any order due to errors of any kind (e.g. price, description, image, etc.). All payments made on any cancelled order due to errors will be refunded, and no additional compensation will be granted to affected parties.

Images and descriptions may not accurately represent the product or apply to all vehicle applications, and should be considered as reference only.
