Pushrods XDP
Cummins ISB 5.9L/6.7L
Dodge Ram 1998.5-2018
XDP pushrods increase the reliability and performance of your RAM’s valve train.
Stock pushrods cannot handle the stress caused by the increased cylinder pressure, valve spring pressure and higher engine speeds of modified Cummins engines.
Just because you can’t see signs of failure on your existing pushrods doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be replaced. When increasing horsepower, even if it’s not much, excessive flexing of the pushrods can cause loss of power, valve problems and damage to other components of your engine.
XDP manufacture their pushrods in the USA to strict specifications. They make them from the highest quality 4130/4135 chromoly tubing at ⅜” or 7/16″ diameter. They are cold drawn on a mandrel to increase stiffness and reduce flex. The tips are machined from 3 times hardened and tempered 86L20 alloy to provide increased impact and wear resistance.
These materials and procedures not only extend the life of these pushrods, but also improve the performance of the valve train. They are sold in sets of 12.
