This gasket and fire rings kit for Cummins ISB/5.9L eliminates high boost gasket problems by providing a stronger seal.

It is important to note that the installation of this kit requires the machining of 6 grooves for the rings in the motor head (stage1) or in the head and the motor block (stage2). The motor head must be perfectly smooth and planing may be necessary to achieve the desired results.

The installation of fire rings goes hand in hand with the installation of performance head studs.
